How to Tell A Story Without a Book
Making Stories Engaging and Fun.
There may be times that a book is not available on hand and/or all the books on the shelf have been read and it’s time for something new. Telling a story without a book provides the opportunity to make the story more engaging and fun by using the whole body and imagination. It allows the children to fully participate in the creation of the story or just to tell an old favorite. This workshop provides the opportunity for participants to practice telling a story without using a book and also receiving feedback from the instructor as well as other participants. They will also learn tricks and tips to improve their techniques in order for children to be more engaged and give/get more from their story telling session.
