This two day workshop will introduce the participants to the Harmony Model of Leadership. This model was specifically designed for child care environments, by Developing Harmony. The model uses the child care program’s mission statement, families and the community as its central nucleus and teams are built around the nucleus. This workshop will teach participants how to lead their teams rather than manage them as well as how to empower teams to make decision together in the best interest of their programs and the child care program as a whole.

Using the Harmony Model as a template the participants will create their own Leadership Model which will be based on the unique needs of their program or programs.  Participants will be provided with tools to decrease personal and work stress and come up with their own self care plan.  Coaching skills will be taught to the participants and using real life scenarios participants will practice the steps to coaching.
