Transition Times for Children

Transitioning Children of All Ages.

Transition songs, games, finger plays and conversations are crucial for making the day run smoothly and they allow ease of change from one activity to another for the children as well as the staff. Participants will learn ideas and tips for transitioning children of all ages. Many ideas will be provided which include planned transition times as well as ideas for transitioning during non-planned times and spur of the moment ideas. Transition box examples will be demonstrated to support transitions with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children.
